Introducing a New On-Demand Printing / Mailing Service

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new on-demand mailing and printing service Covius Print-Ready Services. The new highly flexible service provides a variety of custom printing, advanced mailing and tracking options such as Certified Mail, and delivers advanced, end-to-end tracking services, including an industry leading USPS refund management service that has so far returned millions in refund savings to clients. Covius Print-Ready Services draws on the expertise of the company’s WALZ mail management solutions as well as Covius’ document solutions. It enables users to print and mail any kind of print-ready documents or correspondence, including statements, scanned documents, invoices, checks, letters and marketing materials as well as legal and servicing documents meeting compliance standards.

Why Now is Not the Time to Ease Up on Compliance

In this month’s compliance update, Jennifer Keys discusses the changes in the compliance landscape, how to navigate the uncertainty at the federal level and why she expects the states to be more active going forward. For servicers, particularly, this means staying vigilant.

A Spotlight on Commercial Appraisals

Service 1st, Covius’ national AMC, is well known for its residential appraisals and quality control reviews, but the firm has also developed a significant commercial valuation practice that is growing with lenders and investors nationwide. To get a better sense of the commercial side of the business, we recently sat down with Mark Cassidy, the Chief Valuation Officer at Service 1st.

MERS Annual Review Pitfalls

Whether a servicer is registering loans, processing payoffs or deactivating assignments in the MERS system, it’s important to remember that any MERS member can be required to submit a QA plan or an eAnnual Review. And if a servicer has 1,000 or more serviced MERS loans by March 31 of each year, it must engage a qualified third-party vendor to conduct the eAnnual Review. If you are looking for an expert partner for your MERS eAnnual Review that can help you avoid hefty fines and member suspension as a result of non-compliance, Clayton can collaborate with you and help you prepare.
